Vintage Trends: Extreme and Electro

Square shoulders, billowing sleeves, origami arms and tubular pleating – sounds like an art project rather than a fashion trend? You can dress this extreme trend up or down: Think Lady Gaga; big hair, big attitude and even bigger style ideas. Or think Lady Gaga and jeans? Silhouettes have gone extreme and 80’s colour is back...the only way to do this trend is loud and proud with electro colours like electric blues and hot pinks. For the less daring extremists why not go monochrome like Moschino’s spring and summer 2009 collection? Metallic gold and silver are still on trend, but to mix metallics with the extreme silhouette may make you look more robotic than chic?
